Clapham Joinery ltd have been established since 1995, making bespoke kitchen cabinets, items of furniture and architectural joinery.
We are situated on the South Somerset, North Dorset, South-West Wiltshire border and our work has taken us all across the south of England; including London.
Working for private clients, designers, architects, conservation specialists and builders, our range of expertise has been challenged by, and overcome some of the most unexpected hurdles from the smallest intricacy to the heaviest logistical problem.
Our team of craftsmen has a combined experience of over ninety years in cabinet making, carpentry and joinery and they are supported by a group of skilled and trusted tradesmen; French polishers, paint effect specialists, plumbers, electricians, plasterers, decorators and other specialist trades people. This gives our customers the security of knowing that we can supply the unique range of skills necessary to provide the complete high-level service that sets Clapham Joinery apart.
Our fitted and free-standing furniture, kitchens, bathrooms and for other rooms in the house are all hand built from solid wood frames and doors in a wide variety of styles from contemporary to a traditional Shaker style; all have traditional mortice and tenon joints and dovetailed solid wood drawers.
Our kitchen cabinet interiors are made from either a melamine veneered mdf for a durable and hygienic finish, or from a wood veneered and lacquered board to compliment the kitchen cabinet doors and frames.
